Book, Book, Book
It’s February, and it’s time to bring in new and gently used picture books for our 2020 Bookcase Project collection. The congregation was well represented at last Thursday’s Literacy Banquet by Peggy, Joann (Peggy’s mom), J.T., Sue, Ann T., Karen, Rob Spanton, Billy, Theresa, and Martha. We will collect our books through Sunday, March 1 when we will dedicate them. Children from Two Rivers Preschool will receive their handmade bookcases and books on Saturday, May 9, at Faranda’s in DeKalb, 3 pm. Everyone is invited to join in this festive reading celebration.
An Intergenerational Opportunity Tomorrow
Sue is beginning a project with our children at 9:00 in the morning. Everyone else in the congregation will be invited during fellowship after worship to add to what our children have started.
Our Next February Intergenerational Labyrinth Walk will be next Sunday, February 16 at 9:00 am. Come to walk again or to walk for the first time.
