March 2 is Dr. Seuss’s birthday! What better day to make an offering of books for young children and early readers?
The books will be donated to the Sycamore/DeKalb Bookcase Project, which builds personalized bookcases for children who might not otherwise have any books in their homes. It’s a wonderful, simple way to touch the lives of people in our neighborhood today and to imagine their bright futures as well. The offering will be collected and blessed during our regular worship on Sunday, March 2.
