Mayfield’s Annual Canoeing/Kayaking on the Kish and Picnic at Phyllis Roush’s farm will be held on June 12. We will begin our journey on the Kish at 1pm and probably start eating around 3 pm. Bring a side dish or dessert to share. Who might you invite to join us for this wonderful afternoon?
The June Fellowship meeting is scheduled on June 9 at noon at the church. The meal is a potluck, and the day will feature a program on adventure based counseling for at risk youth with Lynette Spencer. This is a program the Fellowship has supported with December gifts.
Our next collection will be gathered in on Sunday, June 5. The food items for the collection will be oatmeal and canned chicken and canned tuna, both in water. Financial gifts are also always appreciated.
We will be acknowledging our graduates, Kate Carlson and Mitch Doty, on Sunday, May 22. Be among us to congratulate them in the joy of their academic achievement.
